A detailed look into chapter three of part 2

Chapter Summary
The chapter begins with Mr Tang kissing Luling on the cheeks at the Art Museum. Ruth was with Art. They were walking through the museum and Mr Tang was telling them facts about bells and how they all have different tones. Ruth seldom saw her mother that happy and she felt good too. The moving into Mira Mar took many problems off Luling's chest. As the continued walking through the museum, Mr Tang continued filling their minds with knowledge they never knew. Also, Luling could recall facts about her past that Ruth didn't think she would. They begin talking about Luling's past and her family name. Then Art asking about the oracle bones and Ruth remembered the Peking man and she asked where his bones were. Then they all went for lunch.
Back home, Ruth thought about Mr Tang and Luling.Then Art said that Mr Tang was in love with Luling and everything about Luling. Then Art talked to Ruth about marriage and she said 'wonderful'.
The next day Gaoling told Ruth she knew her family name. Then they began talking about the words and their meanings and pronunciation.
Ruth began crying because she found out her grandmother's name. Gu Liu Xin. She felt as if she existed. 
Themes
secrecy- the secret behind Luling's family name had finally been unravelled.
love- between Art and Ruth. Where Art finally decides to marry Ruth, which speaks alot about the love he feels for her.
love- between Mr Tang and Luling. the way Luling seems truly happy with him and the way Mr Tang is fascinated by luling just by reading the manuscript.

Most memorable moment
The most memorable moment in this chapter was when Ruth cried because she was so happy to finally know her grandmother's name. She knew Precious Auntie existed as a person not just as Precious Auntie. She wasn't just Luling's nursemaid, she was Luling's mother and Ruth's grandmother.
